Public bug reported:
After click on "Suspend" menu item the laptop suspends to memory. When I
press power button the screen stays blank while screen back lite turns
on. The same behavior is when I close (to suspend) and then open (to
resume) the lid.
Suspend to disk (hibernate) and resume from disk are ok but in this case I have
messages on the screen (in text mode) like:
[ 1431.056501 ] [drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: 0xC32A: Failed parsing init table
opcode: INIT_ZM_I2C_BYTE -6
The version of Ubuntu is 10.10, desktop, amd64.
The system details are attached as a text file (lshw output).
