If you are seeing this issue, could you please let the computer sit for a while rather than forcing it off? I'm curious to know if the UI is being unresponsive, but the installer is still working to clean up (unmounting the target filesystem, etc).
Equally, please report if you're able to switch to a VT or not (ctrl- alt-f2) once you have pressed the reboot button, and if so, could you please attach the output of `ps auxf` at that point to this bug report.
