Binary package hint: plymouth
On Natty Alpha 3 I have tried to install a new Plymouth theme and
updated alternatives accordingly. Afterwards I used update-initramfs -u
to include the new splash within the ramdisk.
On shutdown, the theme is displayed correctly, but not on bootup.
