Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: indicator-sound

Natty has grown the ability to display the volume indicator when using
the scroll-wheel on the sound indicator, as per
https://code.launchpad.net/~3v1n0/indicator-sound/notify-osd-on-
scroll/+merge/47189

However this new notification appears in the bottom row (where e.g.
notifications from empathy and most programs appear) instead of in the
top row (where volume/brightness changes and other things triggered by
user input are reflected). One can use the mouse wheel on the indicator
and then press the multimedia volume keys, producing two simultaneous
notifications - the bottom one continues responding to mouse wheel input
but not to the multimedia keys, and the top one is in the opposite
situation. The last one to change reflects the correct volume. The
attached screenshot depicts this.

This is on up-to-date natty, installed from scratch using the daily
image from the 1st of March.
