** Description changed:

- I installed Ubuntu Lucid Lynx successfully on my new notebook of type
- Samsung Q330. Also the latest updates are installed. However I noticed
- that I can't control the display brightness correctly with the hot-keys
- (FN+up/down). Normally Ubuntu starts with the full brightness. If I try
- to reduce the brightness it goes down automatically and continuously to
- the minimum value. If I try to increase the brightness during this
- process same behavior but in the opposite direction. The brightness
- indicator pops up and the brightness bar is decreasing or increasing
- continuously. Afterwards the indicator close and I cannot use the panel
- of the desktop anymore.

Similar problem with the hot-key to (de-)activate the WLAN over the hot-
key (FN+F9). Ok here no such dramatically effect but I cannot control
the WLAN status. No action is observed.

If you need more information, please let me know. I will try to answer
  immediately.

  Best regards
