This is happening to me too, in latest feisty. I can reproduce it here every time - all I need to do is change the type of logs being viewed to anything except the kernel log, then change it back to kernel log. If I do this once it tends to happen most of the time. if I change to EVERY different type of view before coming back to the kernel log, it will ALWAYS crash while populating the kernel log view.
