Dear Mr. Kamppeter, I have no access to the Linux machine from here, but I will ty to give you a best-as-I-can description. The Linux machine is printing 300 to 600 A3 forms daily (the trigger comes from a Tomcat 7 webserver running a webservice) and prints about 5000 Label to a RAW printer (triggered by the same tomcat 7 server). The service gets terminated at around 10 minutes to 8 in the morning, as far as I know every morning, with the description I added to the initial bug report. We manage to start the CUPS service with the respective init.d script and it works untill the next morning.
Ubuntu version: 10.10 CUPS version: 1.4.6 I will try to disable app-armor. Perhaps it's not a bug but a configuration issue. Feel free to remove this from the bug list if you already have a similar bug report or it isn't a bug at all. Thanks for the quick response and regards Marco Hinz Am 07.03.2011 12:52, schrieb Till Kamppeter: > Can you please follow the instructions on > https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems?
