I have the same problem. This entry: karlheg ALL = NOPASSWD: /etc/init.d/fetchmail
... worked fine in Maverick, but no longer functions in a fresh install of Natty. In Maverick, I could type: sudo -k sudo /etc/init.d/fetchmail awaken ... and not enter a password (or swipe my finger on the thinkfinger reader). But now, in Natty, it prompts for the password (or fingerprint) anyway. (I also tried with the fingerprint reader disabled in pam; same result.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460761 Title: Cannot disable password authentication for sudo -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
