Public bug reported:
For the panel in the top of gnome I've gone into the properties and made
the size larger then the default. This worked find but the background
panel now has a line through it and a different color. It looks like two
different strips of color now. This is because the default background
image for the panel is being repeated when the panel is made larger but
in this background image the top part of the gradient is lighter then
the bottom.
