The problem with "disk" not finding Baobab was because we excluded
Baobab back in the days where Unity was netbook-only. That issue has
been fixed in another bug. You should see this when you get unity-place-
applications-0.2.36 or higher.
The real problem behind all of this is really that we only have very
weak metadata to index on the individual apps - there are a few efforts
going on to try and improve the application metadata, but it's moving
slowly. This is definitely something we want to fix in the longer term
but is not suitable to track as a Unity bug I believe. It's basically a
project in its own right - so I'll close this bug as invalid - I hope
you understand :-)
