Public bug reported: Binary package hint: geany
I'm experiencing the bug this way: - I have a debian squeeze server, and with nautilus I mount the remote filesystem as user root on the server - In nautilus, I open a www-data:www-data owned file on the server with geany - I modify it with geany, and I save it Result: the file is root:root owned! (The same thing happens if I open it with gedit) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: geany 0.19.1-1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-27.48-generic-pae 2.6.35.11 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-27-generic-pae i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Tue Mar 8 13:09:27 2011 EcryptfsInUse: Yes ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=it_IT:it PATH=(custom, user) LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: geany ** Affects: geany (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/731250 Title: geany changing user:group on remote files -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
