Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: banshee

This is a strange one. :-)

This is what I do to reproduce the bug:

 1. Start Banshee after a reboot.
 2. Press play to start playback of a song.
 3. Let the song finish and when the second song starts the volume is muted. My
playback is set to Shuffle By Artist, if that makes any difference.
