Public bug reported:

Network Manager (Gnome) works perfectly at first after booting the
system, but then it will apparently shut down after random intervals
(anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour of use). The icon in my Notification
Area disappears and my network ceases to be connected.

I am using it on a Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop with an Intel wireless card
(internal wired ethernet device is physically broken). The wireless
connection is WPA1 encrypted if that matters somehow. I'm currently
using Network-Manager 0.6.4-6ubuntu7 with Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty).

I'm putting my lspci and dmesg below, if there are any logs or something
from this machine that would help you guys out, please let me know.
