Correct me if I am wrong: those instructions are for getting a backtrace when Firefox crashes. In this case Firefox does not crash, only the flash pugin crashes. Will those steps be useful in this case as well? > + Could you please provide step-by-step instructions that lead to the crash? I haven't found a sequence of steps that systematically triggers the crash 100% of the times. However any of the following will ALMOST always make the plugin crash: A) 1. open www.youtube.com 2. add some videos to the queue 3. play the queue 4. wait for the first video to finish (or skip to near to the end) => when the following video loads, the plugin will probably crash or B) 1. open www.youtube.com and play any video 2. switch to fullscreen mode 3. exit fullscreen mode => crash The latter seems to happen especially if you exit fullscreen when the video is buffering, but this may be only my impression I attach the about:plugin page as you asked ** Attachment added: "aboutplugins.odt" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/728778/+attachment/1900931/+files/aboutplugins.odt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/728778 Title: adobe flash player plugin always crashes on youtube -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
