Bryan, Running gnome-keyring-manager and displaying the list of available keyrings shows two: default (bolded font) and session. Both of them appear to contain nothing and I have no idea how to manually add anything to them (if that's possible at all). I am not sure if it has any relation to the NetworkManager problem we're discussing here, but if you can guide me on how to create the necessary values for the NetworkManager daemon to recognize the wireless network, we can maybe determine if the keyring is the source of this problem.
