The following is a workaround: 1- Remove the symlink /usr/lib/firefox-addons/searchplugins/common 2- Re-create the symlink /usr/lib/firefox-addons/searchplugins/common pointing towards /usr/lib/firefox-addons/searchplugins/en-US
