Binary package hint: unity

If you change the GTK theme to something besides Ambiance or Radiance,
the workspace switcher icon is represented by the ugly no-icon-found
icon.

I believe the problem is that LauncherController.cpp uses "workspace-
switcher" for this icon instead of "gnome-panel-workspace-switcher."
