Sure, often the best advice for the bios is to leave it alone unless it's a problem. I had various issues, and updated numerous times. Currently I'm at 1902 (or 1903). If you find this really irritating, and it's not fixed for you, I'd consider flashing an updated bios. You should be able to get them from Asus's site. Good luck.
