I have tested the patch on my 7720g laptop. I applied it on ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/tiwai/snapshot/alsa-driver-20110311.tar.gz Everything works well. In alsa-mixer (i have installed 1.0.22 version) subwoofer is controlled by phones channel. But when i plug phones in, all controls take right places(phones channel controls phones).
