Certainly not fixed on my HP mini 110 netbook.
Tried a whole bunch of tests on this bug to see if I could reduce the
time, the code says 1 second but is still taking 2, even with high
priority timer and sub 1000ms timers. Last possibility is that it's
caused by a delay in the code invoked after the timer.
