I see this bug is expired, not sure if that means it can be reopened ?

Anyway, I can see that in Debian 6.0 "Squeeze" CONFIG_IPV6_ROUTER_PREF
is enabled by default in the kernels.

But in Ubuntu 10.10 it is not.

Is there a reason why it is not enabled in Ubuntu ? I would expect
Ubuntu to use similair settings for something like this as Debian is
using.

This is the Debian 'bug':
