This log shows the following:

Unpacking replacement grub-common ...
...
Then the log ends without a finished marker. So it looks like this ugprade went
bad (was interrupted in some way,
crash, power-failure etc).
The AptOdering.txt shows now that apt tries to recover but unfortunately this
is not captured in the logs. So its
hard to say what went wrong.
