somebody marked this as a duplicate of bug #106063, but i think its a
different bug.

its about using the ata scsi wrapper again, so the devicename changes,
and inside the grub menu.lst,  the root filesystem must be changed from hda to 
sda in my case to boot.

Also affected is smartctl and cousines, because they report the device
is now again not smart enabled (was before).

why is the ide harddisk device node again used via the scsi ata wrapper ?
Until at least 2.6.20-13 this was different.
