Hi Juliene

The Gnome System Monitor crash whenever Galculator was launched affected
Karmic.
I now have Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 LTS, and the symptom is no longer present.

By the nature of how Gnome System Monitor has to gather information about
the CPU
and memory usage of running programs, it was always more likely to be the
cause,
and always more likely to be updated faster than Galculator.

Do not put any more time into chasing a bug that has fixed itself via Ubuntu
updates.
Thanks much for your attention.

My regards
Graham
