Have you tried to remove your old data and then run gwibber again? to do
that you need to delete ".config/gwibber", ".cache/gwibber/". by the way
ubuntu recommends when you are upgrading to an non lts release jump one
release per upgrade, not upgrade directly to the latest version heh.
