Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.20
With 2.6.20-12-generic:
• USB mouse keeps jumping, as if the movement events were gathered to a buffer
and then handled all at once about twice a second. The laptop’s trackpoint
“mouse” is in the PS/2 bus and it works correctly.
• Ethernet and 802.11 do not work.
With 2.6.20-15-generic:
• The same problems with the USB mouse, ethernet and 802.11.
• Sound doesn’t work. Applications trying to play audio hang.
• GDM starts, but Gnome fails to start; it just hangs before anything shows up
on the screen.
With 2.6.20-15-generic, irqpoll parameter: everything seems to work.
