Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-image-generic

After a fresh installation of Feisty beta yesterday, I've proceeded to
install the latest updates presented to me by the update-manager. After
completing the update I've attempted to reboot into the newly installed
kernel but encountered a problem.

The boot process would hang at an early point (sometimes presenting a console
with initramfs options).
Booting into the previous kernel (2.6.20.14.12) was successful.

Unfortunately, since this happens at such an early stage of the boot
process, I am unable to provide additional information, unless
instructed how to do so.

Thank you,

Lior.
