Public bug reported: Binary package hint: system-config-printer-gnome
Description: Ubuntu 10.10 Release: 10.10 system-config-printer-gnome: Installed: 1.2.3+20100723-0ubuntu8.1 Candidate: 1.2.3+20100723-0ubuntu8.1 Version table: *** 1.2.3+20100723-0ubuntu8.1 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick-updates/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 1.2.3+20100723-0ubuntu8 0 500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages I tried to set up a network printer, an HP LaserJet 1320. I used "Select printer form database" method. I selected make "HP", then switched to driver selection screen. There I found my printer in "Model" column and got list of 8 entries in "Drivers" column. What is wrong with "Drivers" column: 1. When I hold mouse over any entry _below_ selected entry, wrong pop-up hint is displayed (related to some other entry). Selected entry also has wrong hint. 2. When I select an entry and press Forward button, the entry above selected is actually used. Also there is some weird stuff with (recommended) word. ** Affects: system-config-printer (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/739375 Title: Wrong printer drivers list behavior -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
