What is the IPv6 tab drop-down set to on your system? Here, I'm running
with "Automatic" or "Automatic (addresses only)" and no issues when
unplugging. Granted, I set my router to give out IPv6 addresses using
DHCP, but I don't see how this would matter (especially since AFAICT,
dhclient would get run regardless to handle retrieving the IP).
Note that link-scoped addresses still hold though.
