Hi RedSingularity, I ran the command: sudo rm -rv /var/lib/apt/lists/*
See attached output from that. Next I ran the update command and received a complaint: cgranberg@cgranberg-laptop:~$ sudo apt-get update | tee ~/Desktop/Update2.txt E: Lists directory /var/lib/apt/lists/partial is missing. The missing directory "partial" missing was deleted with the command rm -rv /var/lib/apt/lists/* Carla ** Attachment added: "output from rm -rv /var/lib/apt/lists/*" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/708927/+attachment/1928372/+files/output-from-remove-var-lib-apt-lists.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/708927 Title: ubuntu-minimal could not be found during upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
