Sure, I'll have to check if there are any systems which still ship a
broken EvDev that I want to support. If not, we can drop it entirely, if
so, I'll just add in a check to selectively disable it.

** Summary changed:

- evdev deamon error with autostart at login time
+ evdev deamon not useful on modern systems, causes problems

** Changed in: autokey (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Triaged

** Changed in: autokey (Ubuntu)
   Importance: Undecided => Low

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: autokey

  (autokey-gtk)

  The evdev daemon is not yet available when the desktop session is
  started automatically (autologin).

  Starting autokey manually after login works perfectly.

- Autokey could simply wait & retry 2 or 3 times before giving up.
+
+ EvDev isn't needed on most (all?) supported Ubuntu systems, so perhaps we
should drop the script entirely.
