Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdegraphics

Gwenview is unable to edit files with the .jpeg suffix, if the file is
renamed to .jpg everything is normal.

Please note that these .jpeg images are created by gwenview itself, and
that .jpeg is the default suffix when saving JPEG images under a new
name.
