I need to find a way to reproduce this, but in the code I see it
selecting the format based on the preference for every load.
Have you noticed this only after changing it and changing back? It may
take until the next EDS refresh to update, I could hook the update
appointments code up to the dconf setting change if that were what's
causing this.
