Public bug reported:
I have two hard drives defined. I have moved /home to sdb1 from sda1. I
have had trouble with changing definitions of my drives, which are ide,
as scsi. In one instance, the recognition changed from one boot to
another. Today, after applying the updates available this morning, I
rebooted, and got the error message. I have fixed this in the past by
loading the desktop cd and then mounting sda1 and editing
/media/sda1/etc/fstab. This time this did not work.
My system is a Thinkpad r50e running XP and then VMware, and then
Kubuntu Feisty Beta, with full updates.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
Please let me know how to restart my system without starting over.
Regards,
Kevin
