objdump says this axf has:
    LOAD off    0x00008000 vaddr 0x06000000 paddr 0x06000000 align 2**15
         filesz 0x00017cd8 memsz 0x0001ac50 flags rwx

...and address 0x06000000 on Versatile Express is in
the 'reserved' area above the remappable 64MB low memory block. (On PBX A9 etc 
there is much more RAM at address zero.)

So QEMU is right and the binary is wrong.
