I reported about this problem when i had Ati Radeon 9600xt graphic card
with default ubuntu 2D drivers installed. The bug was closed 'cause i
changed the graphic card and everything worked fine. Now i have nVidia
Geforce 6800GS with 173 nVidia driver installed. Compiz is on, and the
display won't go to sleep again after boot-up and or when i use it for
some time. I am using Lucid for all this time.
