This particular issue has disappeared. I must say that Firefox typically crashes several times in a browsing session, but it is rare that it does so consistently on one or a set of sites. I visit the same sites all the time on my Windows machine, and it never crashes. It's pretty frustrating, since I really want to use Ubuntu. Go ahead and drop the bug if it frees your time up to work on other bugs that are affecting people now. I will open up other bugs as the opportunity arises.
