Hello Lucazade: just to bring you up to speed if you're wondering:
1. The change of icon is intentional
2. The background being applied by Unity/Unity-2D is not intentional
3. It should really have gone into 'ubuntu-mono' rather than 'humanity' and
I'll try and fix that with Vish either before/after UI freeze.
