Public bug reported:
On a reboot or first boot after using Natty I get a blank screen. No
Bios screen, No grub. After a hard poweroff/reset the PC boots normally,
though if I boot into Maverick the GDM splash screen has the panel at
the top and the background is solid purple (no background image).
I also have Windows7 and Maverick (default) installed and don't have the
issue when using them
