Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hicolor-icon-theme
I'm using the Sensors applet with multiple sensors and icons, including the GPU icon. I noticed a minor cosmetic irregularity of the composed image of the GPU sensor's temperatur indicator (the colored meter/gauge) and the GPU icon from: '/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/devices/sensors-applet-gpu.png'. On my system, Ubuntu 10.10 with GNOME and 'Ambiance with Ubuntu-mono- dark symbols' as the theme, that file has incorrect image dimensions (24x24 pixels). It should be 22x22 pixels in size! This causes the temperature indicator/meter/gauge to be displayed slightly offset to the top – in respect to the vertical alignment of the meters on the other sensor's icons. After I manually repaired the icon '/usr/share/icons/hicolor/22x22/devices/sensors-applet-gpu.png' with GIMP, I executed 'sudo gtk-update-icon-cache -f -t /usr/share/icons/hicolor' and switched the GPU sensor's icon in the Sensors applet to another icon and back again. Now, all temperature indicators (meters/gauges) on the sensor's icons, including the one for the GPU sensor, are perfectly aligned vertically. Please see the attached patch for the processed icon that I made from the original. It looks fine and should replace the one in the package easily. Thanks. ** Affects: hicolor-icon-theme (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: cosmetic sensors-applet -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743956 Title: Incorrect icon dimension of '22x22/sensors-applet-gpu.png' -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
