One of the main question dragged by this case is this one : what does Linux during installation does to make a Grub installed in active partition to work (along with a Windows previously installed) ?
No matter the times I issue 'grub-install /dev/hda2' (it's hda2 for me) I never was able to boot again.... So why a fresh Linux install work ?
