Thanks Kamus for your quick response. Meanwhile I installed the latest updates to be up-to-date ;-) and it seems, that I cant reproduce the failure anymore. It looks like that some of the latest updates fixed this problem already.
And Banshee still plays the file from beginning to the end and jumps to the next file without crashing anymore. :-) So it seems this bug can be closed.
