The second patch included here is compatible with the patch in bug 69799, if the other patch is applied first. I can combine them into a single patch if that is preferred.
It will take me some time to re-test against natty. Is this likely to be included in natty if I do this soon? If so, I'll raise the priority of this on my todo list. I have not been in communication with the Debian developers, as I've only tested Ubuntu packages. I can file upstream with Debian as well, but I'd like to take the time to test against Debian first, and adjust patches if necessary.
