Public bug reported:

Problem: Ubuntu netbook remix 10.04 is unable to fast switch users. If I
click on the indicator applet for power/user switching and click on a
different user, the computer tries to log out, flickers black a few
times and then comes up with a password prompt for the currently logged
in user. The same issue happens if I go to "Switch from USERID", it does
not go to the login screen as expected to select another user, instead
if flicks black and comes up with a password prompt for current user

Expected: I'm not sure if this is a unity issue or some other issue but
the expected outcome would be similar to other releases/desktop
environments. If you click on another user name from the indicator
applet it should come up with a password prompt for that user, leaving
the current user logged in as well. Same goes with if you go to switch
from USERID, this should not log out the current user, only bring up the
GDM screen to login to another user at the same time.

Another note is that I can log out of current user and then log in to
another user, the problem seems to be related to Unity Desktop on Ubuntu
10.04 trying to login to multiple users at the same time without logging
out.

Appreciate the help in advance. thanks!
