Public bug reported:

My Logitech USB headset works fine on my Thinkpad t410, but only until I
unplug it. When I do so, the screen turns black and I only see the mouse
pointer, which cannot be moved any more.

I experience the same problem with the headset on my desktop machine.
The only difference is that the screen does not turn black but simply
freezes.

As far as I can remember I did not have this problem every time I
unplugged it. Sometimes unplugging did not cause a system freeze. But I
could not successfully unplug the headset the last ~10 times.

Please let me know if you need further information, this is my first
bugreport.
