Confirming based on reference to upstream bug report. I'll keep an eye
on this one, with luck it will be picked up for Gibbon.
Note that this isn't strictly a configuration issue, since the
configuration setting depends on proper laptop behavior. Broken laptops
misreport lid events and lead to unexpected behavior, as described
upstream. Ergo, users shouldn't change this setting unless they
understand what is going on and are prepared to deal with the
unexpected.
