I re-installed Ubuntu 10.10 (32-bit). Then, I used the correct address
for Tor. I had to open System Tools > Root Terminal to open software-
properties-gtk, which led to the menu window for Synaptic Package
Manager that didn't work before. I couldn't be sure it would be able to
open it with the error intact, because by that time I already re-
installed Ubuntu. Until I encountered the same error trying to fix the
next paragraph's error by deleting the space before maverick. Thank you,
it was able to load the Synaptic Package Manager so that I could remove
the bad repository. With that, I was able to try and try again until I
got the right address. No more errors. But shouldn't there be an easier
way to access the managers without having to use a special code in the
Terminal, and it was even harder to get to since it was the Root
Terminal?
