Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: liferea
I don't know why I am the only one with this problem, but liferea does
not start on my system.
I started liferea from console to see the followng error:
-------------
I/O warning : failed to load external entity "/usr/share/liferea/opml
/feedlist-nl.opml"
** (liferea:27221): WARNING **: XML fout bij het lezen van cache
bestand! "/usr/share/liferea/opml/feedlist-nl.opml" kon niet worden
geïmporteerd!
** ERROR **: Fatal: Feed list import failed! You might want to try to restore
the feed list file /usr/share/liferea/opml/feedlist-nl.opml from the backup in
/home/leon/.liferea_1.2/feedlist.opml.backup
aborting...
-----------
I removed the entire ~/.liferea folder (Because I hadn't ever used it anyway)
But still this message.
So I checked the folder "/usr/share/liferea/opml" and found out the file should
be named: "feedlist_nl.opml" with an underscore.
Because I didn't knew where this setting was located, and if I could change it
I added a sym-link from feedlist-nl.opml to feedlist_nl.opml which fixed the
error, but obviously the naming of the files, or the location to the files
should be changed.
Or something really strange is wrong with my system (which is true, but
I don't think this should be the result ;) I have also unresolved
problems with xine, but that is an other topic)
** Affects: liferea (Ubuntu)
