These volume controls are all set quite low. You can change this in
alsamixer - open a terminal and execute the command "alsamixer -D
hw:Intel" - but first make sure you have selected a surround profile:
Click the speaker icon, then "sound preferences", then go to the
"hardware" tab, select the right card "Internal Audio" and make sure the
correct surround profile is set.
