Today, March 31, I updated my Natty installation. After reboot, the
network applet didn't show wifi anymore. Same happens after many
reboots. I can connect via a wired connection only.
The first time I rebooted I saw a message on screen while Ubuntu was
booting that said something about the network card. I don't remember
exactly what it said (it dissappeared quickly) and I couldn't find it in
the logs.
